October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month!

There are a lot of great events happening around the state in October.  Support the South Dakota Affiliate and SD businesses/schools this month!

Panera Bread: 

  • Saturday, October 1st: ‘Go Pink’ Day to support the start of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
  • Throughout the month of October at participating SD Panera bakery-cafes, one dollar from any Power of Pink baker’s dozen of bagels sold and at least 10 cents for each Pink Ribbon bagel sold, will be donated to Susan G Komen South Dakota.

A 2nd Look Boutique, LLC:

  • Throughtout the month of October, 5% of the sale of all "Pink" items will be donated to the SD Affiliate of Susan G. Komen.

Scheels All Sports, Sioux Falls:

  • Throughout the month of October, a donation of a percentage of profit from the sales of all Breast Cancer Awareness items will be made to the SD Affiliate.

Tan World-Sioux Falls locations:

  • October 15 and 16: $5 sunless spray session offer.  100% of proceeds being donated to Susan G. Komen South Dakota.

TeMari Designs:

  • TeMari Designs, LLC in Yankton, SD is donation 10% of all proceeds from the sale of their Pink and Pearl Ribbon Necklace throughout the month of October.

Volley for the Cure:

  • Be sure to check with your local high school to see if they are hosting a Volley for the Cure, with proceeds going to Susan G. Komen South Dakota.
